Chris Dozier has always had a passion for creating. "As I child," she said, "I was always drawing or making something." That passion persisted, and later in life she began studying with various and talented artists.
Chris put her art studies on hold for several years to pursue a more "secure" profession, earning a BS degree in Nursing at the University of Memphis in 1993. "For the past ten years, I've had the flexibility to seriously concentrate on painting and to discover what I like to do best." Acrylics and oils have become her favorite mediums. She paints a variety of subjects, including landscapes, still life, and animal potraits.
Currently her work can also be seen at Palladio and Market Central in Memphis, at Na-Ann's Gallery in Oxford, Mississippi, at The Antiquity, Ltd. in Atlanta, Georgia, and at the Midnight Sun Gallery in Bigfork, Montana.
