Emaline is a premier watercolorist who has studied and traveled extensively in pursuit of an eclectic combination of emotional and spiritual subject matter for her subtle and varied palette. She is a signature member of The Mid-Southern Watercolor Society and The Southern Watercolor Society. Her early art studies at Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, AR were only occasionally interrupted while raising her children and helping with the family business, rice and soybean farming and a successful seed company.
She has attended workshops and traveled with many of the top artists in her field, Douglas Walton of Ruston, LA; Millard Sheets of LA, CA; Milford Zorns in Little Rock; and most recently with Catherine Anderson.
Her travels in the Orient and Europe have expanded her cultural subject matter, while several visits to San Miguel Allende, Mexico and other Central American sites have also created opportunities for personal growth in her sofisticated use of color.
